Flexible Spending Accounts

Flexible Spending Accounts allow you to set aside pre-taxed dollars for eligible expenses. 

The County of Orange offers two flexible spending accounts: health care and dependent care. 

The Health Care Flexible Spending Account allows you to set aside pre- tax dollars for eligible health care expenses such as health visit copays, orthodontia, and eyeglasses. 

Upon enrolling, a pre-loaded debit card with your total contribution amount will be mailed that you can begin using on the first day of the plan year towards eligible expenses. 

The Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars to be used for qualified dependent care expenses.
